At the Rocky Mountain Women’s Business Center, we are passionate about helping Montana women business owners start and grow their ventures. Whether it’s providing business coaching, workshops, networking opportunities, or mentorship, we believe in the power of women entrepreneurs to strengthen our local economy and communities.
But here’s something many people don’t realize: our program is primarily funded by a federal Small Business Administration (SBA) grant—and with recent shifts in federal funding, we are reaching out for additional support to continue serving Montana women as they pursue their business dreams.
How Are We Funded?
The SBA grant that supports us requires matching funds from other sources, meaning we must secure local contributions to keep our programs running. Along with the annual need for matching funds, with changes happening in the federal government we are facing potential funding uncertainties. Because of this, we are now working to build a strong base of support. If you’ve benefited from our programs, been inspired by a Montana woman entrepreneur, or simply believe in supporting women in business, we ask you to consider taking a few minutes to show your support.
